Hello and welcome to my fundraising website, riding for the needy.com.  Please feel free to have a look around and if you have any queries regarding it or it's content, contact me via the contact link on the left of this page.  I aim to respond to all messages within two working days.

Having successfully cycled a total of 104 miles on the same day in the French Alps, it's now time for an even harder challenge.   I will be cycling up and down  five  well known Pyrenean Tour de France mountain passes in one day for the benefit of  Quidenham Children's Hospice.

A provisional date of 25 June 2007 has been set and I will be riding from Pau to Bagneres-de-Luchon, in the heart of the Pyrenees (191km route).  Further details and updates about all aspects of this ride will be given in subsequent articles.
 
At least two further charity rides are planned; in the Vosges mountains and the Swiss Alps.  The course profiles will be decided and published next year.

Please be advised that RidingfortheNeedy is not a charity but a solo fundraising project.   I will be doing these rides unpaid and will be using my own limited funds to subsidise travel to France etc. 

Every penny donated will be paid  into the fundraising bank account.
